3D knit upper expands dynamically with foot swelling during long distance use

The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2 packs race-day energy return into a high-mileage training shoe. In the new Energy Arc technology, a high-stack midsole accommodates an arched carbon fiber plate sandwiched between two layers of FuelCell foam, leaving a hollow channel through the middle. The plate flattens with each foot strike, providing a high rebound and propulsive ride. The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2 looks, feels, and performs differently.

Shoe Technology

Upper: Breathable flat knit upper creates a locked-in fit and feel. N logo design wraps around the lateral side of the shoe.

Midsole: FuelCell foam delivers a propulsive ride to drive you forward. Energy Arc technology combines a sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole cutouts to increase energy return.

Outsole: Lightweight rubber outsole adds traction and durability.
